I have been hearing that some of you have been experiencing out-of-the-blue or an increasing feeling of anxiety. I know personally how awful this can feel so here are some simple tips today to shake any anxiety right off ... let's hope so x
Believe it or not anxiety is one way how the body chooses to release energy. So instead of fighting it sometimes helping it move through your body is the best medicine.
These are my three sure fire tips on how to Shake Anxiety Right Off:
1. Sweat it out.
Try to jumping up and down, dancing it off to your favourite tunes, be silly and do 20 start jumps, go for a very fast sprint, get up jumping on your re-bounder or trampoline. The goal is to get your heart beat up and some gold old fashion sweat. Cardio off your anxious energy out to the floor.
2. Do this for 10 mins
Yes the key is not to do it for too long. Just enough to create a total new mental state.
3. Time to chill
After your intense shaking off you should be panting and probably out of breathe. This is where you now give your body the space to integrate the new shift of perspective and use some of those healthy endorphin's to do the rest. Lie down preferably with your arms out or if you are with people just find a quiet place to sit and really focus on your breathing. Breath in "I am calm", breathe out "I am peaceful". The goal here is to use your breathe to reduce your heart beat to normal resting rate and gift your body new found peace and confidence.
